#160230015
An intricately carved wooden lentil over a door in the courtyard of the Kumari Palace. It has is three levels and is the home of the very famous living Goddess Kumari, a young girl between 4 and 16 years old. Both Hindus and Buddhists equally venerate her. For Hindus she is the reincarnation of Hindu Goddess Kali. She is equally worshiped by Buddhists because she is chosen from Buddhist family. This shows the harmony between Buddhist and Hindus in Nepal.
